TBL-Subs : What is it all about ?
Alright, so I guess this is the introduction post where I tell you what I'm all about. Well, it's pretty simple,
I'm just a university student that was searching for a way to creatively improve his Japanese outside of his weekly classes. I came up with the idea of fansubbing something simple as a mean of practice, so here I am.
As for my actual background, I'm a French Canadian that has been slowly studying Japanese for the past two years now; been in Japan once last year (for a whole month) and I'm now planning going back there as an exchange student. My level is alright for the kind of show I'm aiming, but hopefully I'll eventually be able to translate more serious show, which I've been wanting to do since I started watching anime in 2006. Speaking of that, you can take a look at my AniDB profile if you're interested in my tastes in anime.
Now subbing-wise, As a first series, I decided to sub the second season of Chii`s Sweet Home, which is basically a short (~3min) family shows that used to air on TVTokyo in 2009. The first season was pretty sweet so I wanted to sub the second one, even though it as already been done. I'll speak more about the show in the first post which shouldn't be long after that one.
